We are seeking a skilled and experienced Trade Qualified Fabricator/Sheet Metal Worker to join our client's day shift in Melbourne's South-Eastern Suburbs.

The successful candidate will be working for a workshop that specializes in providing bespoke steel solutions, including the design, fabrication, delivery, and installation of custom steel products.

Key responsibilities include carrying out various duties under the supervision of the Workshop Manager, including welding mild steel. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in:

  • TIG welding & metal fabrication including sheet metal
  • MIG Welding
  • Interpreting workshop/engineering drawings
  • Ability to use hand/power tools
  • Mechanical aptitude

To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with two past employers
  • Residency in Melbourne Victoria
  • Australian work visa
  • Prior workshop experience
