About the Role

This position is responsible for the ongoing management of sub-contractors and large-scale electrical and mechanical services infrastructure in a data centre environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the performance of sub-contractors and ensure compliance with established protocols.
  • Coordinate preventive and remedial maintenance activities, including the preparation of documentation and arrangement of approvals.
  • Supervise activities carried out by contractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols.
  • Monitor building services, identify and resolve issues, and escalate to relevant stakeholders as necessary.

Infrastructure Management

  • Implement and maintain approved processes compliant with relevant certifications, including ISO27001, ASIO T4, and ISO9001.
  • Support site stability through effective equipment maintenance, performance monitoring, and fault resolution.
  • Conduct regular building inspections, proactively identify issues, and apply risk reduction strategies.
  • Manage infrastructure maintenance activities, supervise contractors, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Asset and Records Management

  • Maintain accurate records, including up-to-date drawings and documentation for all data centre infrastructure.
  • Ensure records management procedures comply with Fujitsu's Quality Management Systems.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Asset Register and asset tagging of all data centre infrastructure.

Security and WHS

  • Ensure confidentiality and security of data within the scope of responsibility.
  • Implement and maintain appropriate security controls.
  • Adhere to Fujitsu's Security policies and promote staff awareness of customer-specific security policies.
  • Assist in exercising security control of the facility and provide first aid as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a large-scale data centre environment.
  • Demonstrated technical skills and experience in supporting electrical and/or mechanical services infrastructure.
  • Sound initiative, good oral and written communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience in managing maintenance contractors, good knowledge of occupational health and safety, and environmental work practices.
