About the Role:

Gough Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to join our team. As a Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding affordable housing and supporting social programs that empower residents with very low to moderate incomes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a Pod System: You will lead a pod system with continuous support, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible service.
  2. Rental Arrears Management: You will be responsible for managing rental arrears, working closely with residents to find solutions and prevent evictions.
  3. Property Inspections: You will conduct periodic inspections, including ingoing and outgoing, to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and meet our high standards.
  4. Facilitating Property Maintenance: You will facilitate and arrange property maintenance and tenancy support, working closely with our maintenance team to ensure that our properties are in good condition.
  5. Eligibility Assessments: You will complete annual eligibility assessments for program criteria, ensuring that our residents meet the necessary requirements.
  6. NCAT Hearings: You will attend NCAT hearings as required, representing our company and advocating for our residents.

Requirements:

  1. Proven Experience: You will have proven residential and tenancy management experience, with a strong understanding of the affordable housing sector.
  2. Certificate IV in Property Services: You will hold a Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) or a related field, or be willing to work towards registration.
  3. Certificate of Registration: You will hold a Certificate of Registration or be willing to work towards registration.
  4. Knowledge of NRAS Scheme: You will have knowledge of the NRAS scheme and affordable housing, with a strong understanding of the sector.
  5. Excellent Customer Service: You will have a commitment to excellent customer service, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality service to our residents.
  6. Negotiation and Conflict Management: You will have strong negotiation and conflict management skills, with the ability to resolve disputes and find solutions.
  7. Self-Starter: You will be a self-starter with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Team-Oriented: You will be team-oriented with strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with colleagues and stakeholders.
  9. Current Driver's License: You will hold a current Driver's License.
  10. NDIS Check: You will be willing to obtain a National Criminal Record Check and NDIS check.
