Interface Management Expert

The Interface Manager is a crucial role in the success of our projects, responsible for managing interfaces within cross-functional teams. This position requires strong collaboration and communication skills to deliver projects on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with OEM suppliers, clients, and consultants to build relationships through project delivery.
  • Manage requirements of third-party agreements and reporting tools to ensure compliance.
  • Engage with the Project Delivery Team to manage communication with third parties affecting operational works.
  • Collaborate with Network Operators, internal delivery arms, and support services to ensure energy supplier connections meet electrical standards and designs.
  • Engage with key stakeholders affected by project works to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Ensure all third-party agreement requirements are disseminated to relevant team members.
  • Manage procurement and ongoing supplier relationships for substation electrical equipment.
  • Drive commercial assessments of changes imposed by external stakeholders.
  • Support project schedule management and progress monitoring throughout the project.
  • Provide input and develop solutions to minimize impact on third parties while maintaining commercially effective project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in electrical equipment, preferably in Substations.
  • Exposure to OEM suppliers both in Australia and internationally.
  • Understanding of Australian standards regarding electrical equipment.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in various software tools, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, etc.
