Senior Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of the management team, you will play a critical role in delivering support and wellbeing programs to Australian veterans and their families.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a focus on veterans and their families in all activities.
  • Provide excellent service, consultation, and continuous improvement with an empathetic and flexible approach.
  • Solve complex and sensitive issues while demonstrating sound judgement.
  • Conduct business reviews and report cost plans to the general manager.
  • Optimise Grant opportunities and oversee Fundraising and Event execution.
  • Support Government engagement and advocacy to demonstrate best use of resources.

Requirements:

  • Sound understanding of Defence, ESO, and Veteran culture/landscape.
  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, management, or health related field.
  • 3+ years proven experience in operations management.
  • Establish and build meaningful relationships internally and externally.
  • High level planning and organisation skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Skilled in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
