Project/Research Nurse


About the Role:

The successful candidate will manage and coordinate nursing and midwifery projects, undertake research activities, and provide strategic leadership to achieve departmental objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate nursing and midwifery projects that align with the department's strategic plan.
  • Conduct robust research activities that inform nursing and midwifery policy or projects.
  • Utilise analytical and conceptual skills to manage projects and establish consultative links with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • A deep understanding of the current healthcare system and knowledge of national and international trends relating to the nursing and midwifery professions, workforce, and service delivery.
  • High-level analytical, conceptual, strategic, research, and creative skills, and the ability to apply these within complex environments.
  • Proven ability to apply rigorous project management methodology in managing a range of projects to meet agreed time, cost, and quality outcomes.
