Senior Leadership Role in Secondary Education

This senior leadership position is a key role within our school's education department, focusing on the final year of secondary education. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the pastoral program, promoting a culture of care and motivation among students.

The Year 12 Level Coordinator will work closely with students, parents, and staff to support each student's personal and academic goals, while ensuring their wellbeing during this critical year.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead student management initiatives
  • Develop and implement wellbeing programs
  • Foster community engagement and partnerships
  • Organize key events for the Year 12 cohort

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will maintain a strong teaching presence in their subject area, inspiring and supporting students and staff alike.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine care and commitment to student wellbeing
  • Current registration as a Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registered teacher
  • Proven excellence in teaching at the secondary level
  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to high standards of pastoral care
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and support staff and students
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering both academic achievement and student wellbeing
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to engaging with the broader life of the school
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
