Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie with a strong background in fine dining to join our culinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional dishes, contributing to menu development, and mentoring junior staff. They will also be responsible for ensuring food safety standards, maintaining kitchen organization, and applying diverse cooking techniques.

As a key member of our team, the successful applicant will be expected to work collaboratively with other chefs, coordinate kitchen operations, and ensure seamless service delivery.

To succeed in this role, you will require excellent time management skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

About the Role
  • Prepare high-quality dishes across various kitchen sections, with a focus on a la carte, buffet, larder, mise-en-place, room service, and banquets.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu items to enhance the guest dining experience.
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff, offering guidance and training.
  • Apply diverse cooking styles and techniques to deliver exceptional dishes.
  • Foster strong communication and coordination within the kitchen brigade.
Requirements
  • Trade qualifications and previous experience in the hotel industry preferred.
  • Extensive experience in a la carte.
  • Knowledge of food safety requirements.
  • Service-oriented with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change.
