Chief Data Strategy Officer

This is a prime opportunity to leverage strategic influence and hands-on technical expertise in leading the development of an organisation's data maturity journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and implementation of modern data solutions, pipelines, and integrations that meet business needs.
- Develop frameworks, standards, and governance models to ensure accurate, secure, and strategically leveraged data.
- Provide expert technical ownership of the organisation's data architecture, while optimising databases for performance, scalability, and compliance.
- Partner with stakeholders to champion a culture of data-driven decision making.
- Mentor and uplift data capability across the organisation, embedding continuous improvement practices.
- Strong experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles, with hands-on expertise in enterprise data platforms.
- Proven delivery of data lakes, warehouses, pipelines, and governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modelling, and modern programming languages such as Python, R, or Spark.
- Practical understanding of metadata management, compliance, and data quality frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex data concepts in plain language.
- Experience with Microsoft M365, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools is desirable.
You are a highly skilled data practitioner who enjoys both strategy and delivery. You bring technical depth alongside the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
