Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Services Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Provide onsite technical assistance and manage escalations to ensure seamless support delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve incidents and provide guidance on technical issues.
  • Support the diagnosis of problems and provision of resolutions for technical issues.
  • Conduct mentoring sessions to enhance the skills of internal support teams.
  • Assist in delivering key solutions and project tasks.
  • Develop and document support processes and issue resolutions.
Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in an IT environment, preferably with a Managed Service Provider.
  • Proficient in managing and supporting Hyper-V and VmWare (Vsphere) virtualisation technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Microsoft environments (Windows Server).
  • Expertise in SCCM and Active Directory management is essential.
  • Experience with Group Policy administration and PowerShell is also required.
  • Working knowledge of backup technologies and proficiency in Veeam is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and Routing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
