Job Title: Financial Accountant
\We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to assist clients with high-quality, efficient and accurate financial accounting and best service delivery.
\Key Responsibilities:
\- Preparing tax returns across varied industries including allied health, real estate, medical, IT and trade services
- Preparing financial statements and BAS returns
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and the Australian Taxation Office
- Performing bookkeeping duties, such as accounts processing, payroll and bank reconciliations
- Completing ad hoc administrative tasks, including queries and follow-ups
Required Skills and Qualifications:
\- Demonstrated time-management and prioritising skills
- Minimum one-to-three-year exposure in an accounting/bookkeeping role
- Qualifications in Accounting or a related discipline
- Intermediate experience with Xero and some experience with MYOB
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as the Australian tax legislation
- Advanced communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Background working with payroll and accounts highly advantageous
