About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Aged Care Support Worker to join our team at Australian Unity. As a key member of our home care team, you will provide high-quality support services to our aged care customers, enabling them to live independently and remain in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist customers with activities of daily living tasks, such as showering, dressing, medication management, and mobility assistance.
  • Domestic Assistance: Provide light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and general household chores.
  • Social Support: Accompany customers to appointments and social outings, assist with shopping, and offer emotional support and companionship.
  • Administration: Maintain accurate records and progress notes.
Requirements
  • 12 months+ experience in aged care or a related field.
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 7am-6pm.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence and ownership of a reliable, comprehensive insured vehicle.
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
  • Ability to commit to our paid 2-week training and induction program.
