The Opportunity

As an Aboriginal Home Health Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander elders and community in NSW. You'll be part of a team that's dedicated to delivering culturally appropriate care and connecting with other members of the community.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, bed making, and meal preparation
  • Offering social support such as accompanying clients to their doctor appointments, shopping, and social outings (experience dependant)
  • Performing Personal Care duties including showering, feeding, and toileting; assisting in oral medication (experience dependant)

Requirements:

  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care
  • A reliable car and Australian Driver Licence
  • Vaccinated for COVID-19 (2 Doses)
  • Both experienced and non-experienced candidates encouraged to apply
