About Our Transitional Aged Care Program

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient individual to join our team as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) in our Transitional Aged Care Program.

This is a rewarding opportunity for novice AINs and nursing students to gain valuable experience in a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment.

Our program provides slow-stream rehabilitation and practical support to care-recipients in their own homes, with the aim of helping them reach their individual goals and live safely and confidently at home.

  • We offer permanent part-time and casual positions, with day shifts only and some weekend work (shift penalties apply).
  • Nursing students of all levels are encouraged to apply, and full training and orientation will be provided.
  • We also offer professional development opportunities to help you grow in your role.

To thrive in this role, you will need to be:

Compassionate, resilient, and committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.

You will also need to possess:

Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent (or working towards same), OR nursing student suitably experienced in Aged Care, Home Care or acute/subacute care (e.g. clinical placements).

You will be required to provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining:

A current Police Record Check and proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
