Job Description

As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in the provision of high-quality care to our residents. You will support the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate care across the home, ensuring that each resident's individual needs, wishes, and goals are met.

This is an excellent opportunity for career progression, suitable for Endorsed Enrolled Nurses or Personal Care Workers with relevant qualifications. You will work collaboratively with the team to provide holistic and person-centered care, prioritizing social and emotional support for all residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support to residents, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Coordinate care needs across the home, including medication management, nutrition, hydration, and pressure care management.
  • Lead and supervise care teams on shifts, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You must possess:

  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
  • High-level commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to understand and utilize technology, learning new skills as required.
  • A current National police check and working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
