Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious individual to fill the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager. In this leadership position, you will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, maintaining high standards and ensuring smooth service.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the F&B team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Oversee reservations, seating arrangements, and service flow to optimize dining room efficiency.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and solution-focused manner.
  • Maintain presentation standards of the restaurant, ensuring all areas are clean and welcoming.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance feedback to support team development.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure consistent communication and smooth operations.
  • Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management in line with operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a restaurant or hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Organised, proactive, and confident in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
  • Understanding of rostering, stock management, and basic administrative tasks.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and familiarity with hotel F&B operations is an advantage.
