Regional Governance Specialist
This role plays a key part in enhancing regional governance and coordination across the North West division of the Department.
The successful candidate will have strong people management skills and be capable of forming effective relationships across the organisation to build capability and work in culturally safe and responsive ways.
They will also need to be able to support the development, implementation and evaluation of regional action plans within resourcing, timelines and budget parameters.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide support to strengthen and elevate the regional action groups located in the North and West divisions.
- Support the action groups and regional coordinators in achieving their vision, objectives and key tasks as outlined in the 10 Year Agreement.
- Provide line management responsibilities to the North West regional coordinators.
About You
We are seeking an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person with skills and experience in engaging and building productive relationships with Victorian Aboriginal communities to achieve enhanced outcomes.
You will need to be a strong communicator who can deliver results in a busy policy and program environment.
