**Job Summary:**

The Canberra Health Services division provides comprehensive mental health services to individuals and families. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work as a Clinical Manager in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

Mental Health, Justice Health, Alcohol & Drug Services provide a range of healthcare services, from prevention and treatment to recovery, maintenance, and harm minimisation. The division works closely with consumers, carers, and various government and non-government service providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

CAMHS delivers assessment and treatment services for young people aged 18 years or less who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues. The multidisciplinary community teams comprise mental health professionals who provide assessment, treatment, and clinical management within a recovery framework.

This position involves conducting assessments, providing clinical management, facilitating group work, and offering support to clinicians. The successful candidate will participate in quality initiatives and contribute to team processes.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide expert clinical management for young people with mental health issues.
  • Facilitate effective group work and offer support to clinicians.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.

**Requirements:**

**Mandatory:** A relevant degree in social work, psychology, or occupational therapy is essential, along with a minimum of 1 year's post-qualification experience in the respective field. A current driver's license is also required.
