Microsoft 365 Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Engineer to drive implementation, configuration, and migration projects across enterprise environments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Architect to execute Microsoft 365 implementation and migration projects while minimizing business disruption.
  • Deploy solutions across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID (Azure AD) and integrate with on-prem AD, servers, networks, EUC and apps.
  • Deliver consulting services through design, build, testing, cutover and stabilization.
  • Automate administration and deployments using PowerShell; produce clear runbooks/documentation.
  • Troubleshoot issues across hybrid M365 environments and drive timely resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date on M365 best practices, security and governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in IT consulting, including 3+ years as a Microsoft 365 Engineer.
  • Proven track record of implementation and migration project delivery (hybrid and cloud).
  • Strong skills in Intune/Endpoint Manager, Exchange Online, Teams/SharePoint, Entra ID.
  • PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
  • Australian citizenship with an active NV1 security clearance (or higher).
  • MICROSOFT 365/Azure certifications are advantageous.
