We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Safety & Environmental Lead to join our team.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective safety and environmental strategies that drive excellence in our heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization's safety and environmental performance. As Senior Safety & Environmental Lead, you will oversee the development and implementation of safety and environmental policies, procedures, and programs that align with industry best practices.

You will work closely with senior management, operations teams, and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety and environmental strategies that meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Provide expert guidance to operations teams and senior management on safety and environmental matters.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, improve processes, and enhance overall performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Lead and manage the EHS team to achieve operational and business goals.
Requirements:

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management or related field.
  • Proven experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels to drive results.
