Project Details

Vaughan Civil Pty Ltd is undertaking a significant infrastructure project on the Cunningham Highway at Cunninghams Gap, requiring a skilled Civil Structures Leading Hand to oversee daily operations.

This 3-year project involves repairing and reconstructing a two-kilometre section of the highway, including:

  • Scaling and stabilising the slope above the road to reduce rockfall risk.
  • Installing approximately 20,000m2 of rockfall protection mesh.
  • Constructing retaining walls to enable sufficient carriageway width.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring workplace health and safety, managing multiple tasks concurrently, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

The Civil Structures Leading Hand will be responsible for:

  • Planning, organizing, and delegating tasks and resources effectively.
  • Implementing workplace health and safety initiatives and procedures.
  • Handling all plant, equipment, and machinery.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A driver's license and reliable transport.
  • A Construction White Card.
  • Additional tickets advantageous.
  • Previous leading hand or supervisory experience.
  • Experience with structures and on-site installations.
