Government Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished government lawyer to join our market leading Public Sector practice in Brisbane.

The Role

This unique opportunity will see you working at the forefront of public sector administrative and regulatory matters, collaborating closely with experienced partners to assist federal, state, and local government clients with complex administrative law and regulatory issues.

You will be involved in statutory investigations and reviews, administrative and regulatory litigation, information, data, and privacy as well as human rights and general advisory services.

This impactful practice offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment where respect and support are constant, along with flexible/hybrid work arrangements available and opportunities to celebrate success as a team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating on large, complex matters for various government clients
  • Contributing to a successful and impactful team
  • Assisting clients with administrative law and regulatory matters
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2-5 years PQE in either private practice or in-house Government experience
  • A strong work ethic, highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent drafting and writing skills
  • A genuine interest in administrative law and a desire to learn
  • A proven track record of prioritizing your time across multiple busy matters
  • An interest in government
