Graduate ICT Design Engineer Position

This role is ideal for recent engineering graduates who wish to launch their career in the field of ICT design engineering. As a Graduate ICT Design Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting senior engineers and project managers in preparing engineering designs and calculations.

You will use specialist design software to bring concepts to life and receive training to ensure your designs are safe and sustainable throughout the building lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design & Engineering: Assist in preparing engineering designs and calculations.
  • Software Tools: Use specialist design software such as CAD and engineering software.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure designs are safe and sustainable by following health and safety legislation.
  • Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously improve designs and processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • BSc/BEng (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
  • Familiarity with CAD and engineering software.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety legislation.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of engineering principles, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
