We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cellar Operations Manager to join our team at Parramatta Leagues - Home of the Eels. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a small team and overseeing the efficient operation of our cellar and stock control.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a small team, providing effective feedback, training, leadership, support, and growth opportunities to team members.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels and replenishment of all outlets to ensure optimum levels, collaborating with departments and venue managers to plan inventory.
- Warehouse Operations: Proactively maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable working environment for employees in the Cellar, in accordance with WHS standards and club policies.
- Cellar Operations: Carry out Cellar operations tasks, accepting and checking deliveries, changing kegs, beer line cleaning, restocking bars.
- Process Improvement: Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Support Functions: Assist Stock Controller with ad-hoc duties when required, operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Leadership Experience: Experience in a similar leadership role in Cellar Operations/ Logistics/ Warehousing / Head Storemen.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead a small, tight knit team.
- Inventory Control: Knowledge of inventory control procedures and WHS standards.
- Hospitality Experience: Hospitality industry experience (desirable).
- Availability: Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekend work.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Certifications: RSA & RCG, Forklift Licence.
