About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Data and Optimisation Analyst to support the Clinical Resource Funding Manager in optimising clinical funding claims through monitoring of clinical data and Resident Funding Classification. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Funding Support – Admissions and Reassessments team by analysing clinical data to identify changes in resident care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the subject matter expert for the review of the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) claims against the AN-ACC funding on the Payment Statements.
  • Responsible for identifying any variances between claims and funds received and taking action to rectify accordingly.
  • Identify and monitor the triggers for reassessment of residents and manage the analysis of clinical data. Where reassessment is feasible, provide guidance to the Funding Support – Admission and Reassessment team and ensure action is taken.
  • Monitor and document new classifications received through My Aged Care for reporting to and guiding key stakeholders in operations and workforce management.
  • Independently analyse reports and Lee Care to identify both residents with changing care needs resulting in AN-ACC reassessment, and residents approaching key milestone criteria under the AN-ACC reassessment rules.
  • Liaise with Admission and Reassessment team to provide confirmation of new resident admissions.
  • Monitor and analyse AN-ACC Classes against care minutes, especially around impact form reassessments.
  • Maintain Epicor database for admissions and reassessments.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) tool (Essential).
  • Previous experience with data analysis and manipulation (at least 2 years' experience).
  • Strong computer skills including dashboard management.
  • Analytical skills (for Payment Statements and report analysis).
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (essential).
  • Experience in clinical care management with sound knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to use key systems and government funding portals.
  • Strong Organisation skills and excellent time management.
  • Auditing experience.
  • Change management experience.
  • Proven written and communication skills.
  • Advanced clinical assessment skills.
