Cloud Transformation Leader

We're seeking an accomplished Cloud Transformation Leader to spearhead our strategic migration initiative, primarily focused on Microsoft Azure and other cloud services.

You will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering secure, cloud-optimized solutions. Working closely with engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams, you'll ensure architectural decisions align with enterprise standards and enable a seamless transition to a modern technology landscape.

About the Role
  • Lead the execution of a strategic cloud transformation program, migrating from on-premises data centers to Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable network and security architectures to support hybrid and cloud-native workloads.
  • Develop and document solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards and project roadmap.
  • Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to delivery teams throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Support infrastructure uplift initiatives that enhance system reliability, performance, and security.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to migration, networking, security, and legacy systems.
  • Ensure compliance with governance processes, architecture standards, and security requirements.
Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, infrastructure architecture, and exposure to applications.
  • Proven experience delivering cloud migration projects, ideally to Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking and security architecture, including ExpressRoute, VPN, segmentation, Zero Trust, and Microsoft Defender/Entra.
  • Expertise in Microsoft cloud platforms and enterprise IT environments.
  • Ability to work within an established architecture framework and translate strategy into practical solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, CISSP, Microsoft Certified: Security or Networking) are highly regarded.
