About This Opportunity:

This permanent position is based in North Ryde and involves planning, forecasting, and executing demand and fulfillment requirements within a designated category. The goal is to meet sales, service levels, and inventory targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Replenish stock regularly and maintain accurate forecasts
  • Place and confirm orders with suppliers, ensuring timely receipt of items
  • Manage lead times, issues, and changes with suppliers
  • Analyse case goods stock and replenishment trends
  • Identify potential demand events and forecast their impact
  • Continuously improve processes and management for all case goods and promotional/seasonal ranges
Requirements:
  • Experience in retail merchandise planning and analysis or inventory management, preferably with furniture retail experience
  • Previous experience in forecasting events and incorporating promotional plans into financial plans
  • Ability to manage in-stock position and forecast reorder units efficiently
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
