Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Content Editor to join our team. As a Content Editor, you will be responsible for editing news content for various platforms. This role involves working with a team of reporters and analysts across regions to ensure the accuracy and relevance of published content.

The ideal candidate will have excellent English speaking and writing skills, a passion for journalism and editing, and experience in reporting and editing for financial news services. A postgraduate degree or diploma in journalism would be preferred.

  • Identify and edit key time-sensitive market intelligence and prioritize publication.
  • Ensure the accuracy of information gathered by reporters, ensuring all published content adheres to our coverage criteria and is relevant to our readers.
  • The role involves extensive on-the-job learning and candidates must be self-motivated.
  • Open to working flexible shifts.
  • Work independently and in collaboration with a wide team of reporters and analysts across regions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
  • A passion for journalism and editing.
  • Experience in reporting and editing for financial news services, newspapers or online publications.
  • A postgraduate degree or diploma in journalism would be preferred.
  • Research editors/copy editors at business intelligence-focused organizations, news publications/magazines, credit agencies or city editors who have experience in covering market intelligence can also apply.
  • The candidate will need to work across different time zones as and when necessary.
  • The candidate will need to work an early 6am shift.
