Front of House Team Member Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and professional Front of House team member to join our crew.

This role is ideal for someone who brings energy, warmth, and detail-focused care to service. You will be involved in everything from wine service and casual dining to supporting events and tastings.

  • Deliver warm, welcoming service during dinner and drinks service
  • Support the smooth running of FOH operations, including setup, hosting, and end-of-night duties
  • Build genuine rapport with regular guests and the local community
  • Work occasional private dining or event shifts, assisting the events lead as needed
  • Promote the presentation and contribute to shaping the guest experience

About the Role

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has minimum 3 years' FOH experience in a wine bar, bistro, or similar hospitality venue
  • Has strong wine knowledge and/or interest in learning more
  • Confidence with cocktail service and bar support
  • Has a genuine love of food and local sourcing
  • Exhibits a welcoming personality and natural hosting presence
  • Can work calmly and efficiently in a small, high-functioning team
  • Has excellent communication and initiative
  • Is detail-oriented with a sense of pride and professionalism

Key Responsibilities

  • Service delivery: delivering exceptional customer experiences throughout dinner and drinks service
  • Operational support: ensuring seamless day-to-day operation of the FOH, including setup, hosting, and closing procedures
  • Rapport building: fostering strong relationships with regular guests and the local community
  • Events support: working on private dining or event shifts, collaborating with the events lead as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a FOH role in a wine bar, bistro, or similar venue
  • Strong wine knowledge and/or interest in developing this skillset
  • Cocktail service confidence and bar support skills
  • Genuine passion for food and local sourcing
  • Natural hosting presence and welcoming personality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-functioning team environment
  • Excellent communication and initiative skills
  • Attention to detail and a sense of pride in workmanship
