The Employment Office Australia is seeking a Medical Director to lead our team in delivering high-quality primary health care services to remote communities in Western Australia.
As a senior leader, you will be responsible for providing clinical, strategic, and technical guidance to our team, driving improvements in Aboriginal health policy, clinical governance, and service delivery across the Kimberley region.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice to our CEO and board on Aboriginal health policy and service delivery
- Leading our clinical services area, overseeing key medical personnel, and developing strategic alliances to strengthen Aboriginal health policy and practice in the Kimberley
- Driving continuous quality improvement and best practice clinical care across our services
- Overseeing the credentialing, compliance, and professional development of medical staff
To qualify for this role, you must be a registered Medical Practitioner with a Fellowship with the RACGP and/or ACRRM. A minimum of senior-level experience in Aboriginal primary health care will be highly regarded.
We are looking for a resilient, adaptable, and culturally aware leader who can drive policy, advocate for Aboriginal health needs, and inspire a team to deliver high-quality, community-driven care.
