Your Responsibilities
We are in search of a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure as a service, platform operations, and application support.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, your duties will encompass:
- Managing the deployment, updates, and lifecycle of cloud infrastructure and hosted SAP solutions.
- Creating scripts and facilitating automated deployment workflows.
- Designing and executing essential SaaS applications and management components.
- Configuring monitoring tools for applications, security, and compliance audits.
- Providing expert troubleshooting and technical insights to resolve service delivery challenges.
- Delivering comprehensive troubleshooting and recommending solutions for application issues, including batch processing, data storage, application functionalities, management layers, and load balancing.
- Planning, scheduling, and executing the integration of new systems.
- Offering operational support as the application subject matter expert for 24/7 systems, including participation in on-call rotations.
Qualifications You Should Have
- Over 5 years of experience in implementing or supporting technical infrastructure in the Cloud at an enterprise level or in business application operations.
- Practical experience in delivering products on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP is preferred.
- Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD tools, and GIT.
- Experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes environments is advantageous.
- Proficiency in directory services.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach with a strong sense of end-to-end ownership.
- Support for troubleshooting and system performance initiatives.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations for planned maintenance, which may include weekends.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with AWS services such as Route 53, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, ACM, KMS, VPC.
- Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure components such as firewalls, load balancers, storage, monitoring, security, IAM, etc., and experience in orchestrating cloud solutions.
Mandatory Requirement
Applicants must possess an Australian Government Security Clearance.
