Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Expert to join our team in the insurance industry. This is a challenging role that requires strong risk management skills and the ability to manage complex risks across various home insurance products.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing risk and compliance, ensuring that all internal and external regulations are met. Key responsibilities include:
- Enhance Risk & Compliance: Ensure that all risk management practices are in place and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and Facilitate: Enhance internal risk controls, detection mechanisms, and response capabilities across Products and Claims & Assessing function.
- Improve Internal Controls: Work closely with the Quality Assurance function to improve risk detection, response capabilities, and control environments.
- Collaborate & Engage: Utilize exceptional communication skills to build strong relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders, providing expert advice on risk and compliance matters.

Requirements for this role include:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within insurance or financial services.
- Expert knowledge of CPS 230 and understanding of regulatory compliance obligations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to manage internal relations effectively.
- A passion for risk management, quality assurance, and home insurance products.
- The ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and providing valuable insights.
