Job Opportunity: Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our Operations and Maintenance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Australia Defence Environment, supporting national security requirements.

The successful candidate will be based at one of two main sites in Perth's surrounding suburbs, with occasional regional travel. Key responsibilities include performing scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment, diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment, project work on fuel installation and related assets and equipment, and support for subcontracted work packages.

To be successful in this role, you will require trade qualifications in mechanical fitting, relevant post-trade experience, and proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas. Experience working within the defence fuels network or defence industry will be highly regarded, as will confined space and working at heights tickets.

Safety is paramount in this role, and you will need to demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You will also need to currently hold, or be able to obtain, appropriate Defence Security Clearance.
