The Opportunity

Our organization is responsible for developing and supporting the Australian Navy and Army Joint Helicopter School.

We are recruiting an Aerospace Worker to specialize in Aircraft re-fueling activities, helping us deliver a premier Australian Defence Force training capability.

This role is based in Nowra, on the NSW South Coast, offering a unique character with a spectacular natural environment, growing population, and bustling economy.

We need your expertise to help create the next generation of Navy and Army Aircrew.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Re-fuel aircraft
  • Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly checks of re-fueling equipment
  • Assist with manoeuvring aircraft
  • Provide generic workshop assistance
  • Support site and project activities as directed
  • Supply-related tasks including packing, transportation of goods, and general warehousing activities
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a high-tempo operating environment
  • Competence in using technology
  • Experience working in a safety-critical environment
  • Aviation experience in re-fuelling and assisting in aircraft maintenance (desirable)
