Diagnostic Pathology Role

IDEXX is seeking a skilled Veterinary Laboratory Technician to join our team in Unley. As a key member of our laboratory, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic pathology services, ensuring timely and effective results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and monitor quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with NATA and ISO accreditation requirements.
  • Operate efficiently and effectively to meet tight turnaround times in a commercial lab environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the provision of high-quality testing services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality systems and health and safety policies.

Requirements

  • Completed or working towards a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a diagnostic laboratory setting.
  • Excellent PC and data entry skills.
  • Ability to follow and adhere to policies and practices.
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
