Senior Fire Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our fire engineering services, you will provide fire strategy compliance input to country-wide projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for a conscientious, self-motivated professional with strong communication skills and a passion for applying technical experience and knowledge in a team environment on technically challenging and professionally rewarding projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of local permitting legislation, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.

• Develop comprehensive fire strategies for a wide range of projects using relevant code recommendations such as TGD Part B & M, BS9999, BS 5588, as well as pertinent FM and NFPA standards.
• Lodge Fire Safety Certificates and Disabled Access Certificate applications via the Building Control Management System (BCMS).
• Provide internal consultancy service for design and contract administration teams on building regulation matters.
• Lead fire strategy discussions with design team, client representatives, building control, and fire service.

• A qualified Architect / Architectural Technologist with 5+ years' experience and a background in fire safety & disabled access certification.
• A postgraduate or bachelor's degree in fire engineering is preferable.
• A strong understanding of fire safety engineering and a desire to develop their career further in this field.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards: Part B & M, BS 9999, BS 5588, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite (Excel).
• Excellent English language skills - written and spoken.
• Knowledge of architectural specific design standards and building regulations.
• Ability to interact with engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels.

• Salary €40k-€45k per annum.
• 21 days' annual leave.
