High Court Associate Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Associate at the High Court.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that will commence in early 2026 and is for a period of up to 12 months with the possibility of extension. The successful applicant will be required to undertake legal research and produce high-quality written work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support the court's decision-making process.
- Prepare high-quality written materials, including reports and recommendations, to assist the judges in their deliberations.
- Assist with administrative functions, such as preparing court documents and coordinating logistics for court sittings.
Requirements
- A law degree or almost completed law degree;
- A high level of academic achievement (Honours or equivalent is desirable);
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- High-level research, analytical and editorial skills;
- Excellent interpersonal, workload planning and organisational skills; and
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate high-quality written materials under time pressure.
