Conference and Events Organiser

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conference and Events Organiser to join our expanding Sales team at the Duxton Hotel in Perth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote the hotel's conference and events offerings to potential clients and negotiate service types and costs within budget parameters.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding services, including room and equipment hire, catering, and related event services.
  • Meet with clients to assess their needs and present tailored package options.
  • Coordinate and arrange event services such as conference facilities, catering, audiovisual equipment, accommodation, transport, and social events.
  • Oversee participant registration and ensure seamless execution of events.
Requirements:
  • Hold relevant event organisation qualifications and experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure within a large team, and as an individual.
  • Knowledge of OH&S and food hygiene standards.
  • A passion for sales and event organisation with a commitment to wanting to succeed & advance your career.
  • Passion to provide a superior and welcoming customer service experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights.
  • Australian National Police Clearance, no more than three months old.

This is a full-time position with a remuneration range of $73,150 to $85,000 depending on experience and qualification.
