Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Teaching Professional to join our team in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. As a key member, you will be responsible for developing innovative teaching methodologies and delivering exceptional student experiences that lead to better graduates with a focus on Design Engineering.

This role is part of our Education Focused initiative, which aims to enable academics to specialise in Aerospace Engineering education. You will be expected to drive educational excellence within the university's teaching and learning communities.

  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and student experiences that lead to better graduates.
  • Specialise in Aerospace Engineering education and contribute to the development of new teaching methodologies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience of our students.
About the Role

This is a full-time fixed-term position for 12 months. The successful candidate will report to the Head of School and have no direct reports.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD or near completion in design engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline. They will also have contemporary knowledge of the design engineering discipline and demonstrated experience in teaching and learning at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
