Job Opportunity

Seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter for an outage at Tarong Power Station.

Casual Role: Work on site from mid-September, approximately until mid-November.

Roster: Monday to Saturday, Days/Nights, 11-hour shifts.

Competitive Remuneration: EBA rates of $66.84 p/hr (including 25% casual loading) + OT Penalties.

Other Benefits: LAFHA or Accommodation provided to distant workers.

The Opportunity

This role involves working on steam turbines and valves, inspecting and measuring critical components, and ensuring precise alignment and safety compliance.

About You

  • Site Experience: Previous outage and project experience in the power generation or heavy industrial sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience working on steam turbines and valves, including inspection and measurement of critical components.
  • Team Orientation: Ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills.
  • Workplace Safety: Commitment to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues.
  • Qualifications: Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade, or equivalent.
  • Hold Valid Tickets: Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E) & Working at heights (RIIWHS204E), Construction white card, Rights to work in Australia.
