Steam Turbine Specialist Vacancy

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Steam Turbine Specialist to join our team for an upcoming project at the Tarong Power Station.

The successful candidate will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling steam turbines and valves, working with auxiliary systems, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring precise alignment and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble steam turbines and valves
  • Work with auxiliary systems
  • Interpret technical drawings
  • Ensure precise alignment and safety compliance

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the power generation or heavy industrial sector
  • Proven experience working on steam turbines and valves, including inspection and measurement of critical components
  • Able to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
  • Committed to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade, or equivalent qualification
  • Hold valid tickets: Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E) & Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 2 years), Construction white card, Rights to work in Australia
