We are seeking an Educator to deliver high school and primary school road safety programs throughout Brisbane and surrounding regions.

This role involves teaching engaging and interactive programs, liaising with schools to coordinate the teaching of programs, and travelling to schools in a supplied car.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience teaching in high school or primary school, excellent classroom management skills, and a desire to make a positive difference for vulnerable road users.

The role offers flexibility, with the option to work from home and travel throughout regional Queensland. Standard working hours are 7.5 hours per day, with variations as required.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience teaching in high school or primary school
  • Excellent range of classroom management skills
  • Compassion and understanding of the challenges facing adolescents and children in the road safety space
  • Self-reflective and committed to positively utilise feedback to improve teaching practices
  • Ability to differentiate teaching for students of different ages and contexts
  • Flexibility and discernment to effectively manage and respond to change
  • Growth mindset and accountability for actions and decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal, phone and written communication skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Education
  • Current open C class Driver Licence
  • Queensland College of Teacher Registration OR Suitability to Work with Children Card (Blue Card)
