Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.

Your Opportunity:

This permanent position will provide 0.4 FTE child and adolescent psychiatry services as a Senior Medical Officer to NorthWest CYMHS, though you may be required to undertake other duties as directed by the Medical Director CYMHS, CHQ HHS. Working in the role of a Senior Medical Officer (SMO) in child and adolescent psychiatry, you will therefore be expected to have the knowledge and skills to safely provide a range of clinical psychiatric services to optimise assessment and treatment of children/adolescents and their families across CHQ HHS CYMHS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 0.4 FTE child and adolescent psychiatry services as a Senior Medical Officer to NorthWest CYMHS
  • Undertake other duties as directed by the Medical Director CYMHS, CHQ HHS
  • Have the knowledge and skills to safely provide a range of clinical psychiatric services to optimise assessment and treatment of children/adolescents and their families across CHQ HHS CYMHS
