About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a Seasonal Parcel Sorter. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient sorting and delivery of parcels and mail to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort and process parcels and mail using manual and machine-assisted methods
  • Load and unload mail from mail bags, trays, containers, and metal cages (Unit Loading Devices)
  • Operate and use load shifting equipment such as hand pallet devices and stackers
  • Work across sophisticated processing equipment and lines

Requirements

  • Availability to work from October through our peak period
  • Ability to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly
  • Good memory and attention to detail
  • Safety-conscious and able to safely operate equipment
  • Comfortable handling parcels that may contain meat and/or alcohol products

  • A higher rate of pay may apply for applicable shift times (penalty rates)
  • 12% superannuation rate
