Job Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Customer Wellness Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, delivering engaging resident programs and contributing to the positive growth of our safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimise the independence, health, wellbeing and quality of life of residents by assisting with the development of wellness programs.
- Work as a team to provide social programs that reflect the interests of residents, such as facilitating gardening groups, exercise classes and craft clubs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance both social and cultural engagement.
- Act as a listening ear for residents, their families and advocates.
- Connect with residents on an individual level, building strong relationships and providing high-quality care.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or Certificate IV in Leisure & Health (working towards also considered).
- Ability to provide high-quality care that meets the needs of customers and assist in the creation of lifestyle plans.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and their families.
- Willingness to go above and beyond to actively engage residents.
- Basic understanding of Information Technology, including using an iPad for video calling and operating smart televisions for activity engagement.
