Cloud Infrastructure Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Professional to design, deploy, and maintain our hybrid infrastructure. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of availability, stability, and security across our cloud and on-premise environments.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying expertise in security, networking, operating systems, and SRE to solve complex challenges using automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD. You will work closely with stakeholders and vendors to champion the adoption of cloud and DevOps practices across the organization.

You will also participate in an on-call roster to support critical cloud platforms outside business hours. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, operate, automate, migrate, and scale software systems across cloud and on-prem environments
  • Apply expertise in security, networking, operating systems, and SRE
  • Use automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD to solve complex challenges
  • Act as a trusted advisor, working with stakeholders and vendors
  • Champion the adoption of cloud and DevOps practices across the organization
  • Participate in an on-call roster to support critical cloud platforms outside business hours
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience in Windows and Linux OS systems
  • Experience in cloud/datacentre hybrid environments
  • Strong experience in AWS/Azure cloud platform services and networking
  • Provision and configure cloud-based resources to manage complex application environments
  • Experience in application migration to the Cloud, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions
  • Experienced with DevOps practices, specifically CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Experience in initial setup activities, including infrastructure, connectivity, security policies, configuration management, and DevOps
  • Knowledge of security and IAM (Identity and Access Management)
  • Skills to implement and manage orchestration tools and automation of the full technical stack
  • Fluent in Python, PowerShell, Bash
  • Demonstrated organisational skills, planning, and ability to exercise judgement to make decisions
  • Outcome focused, with strong emphasis on delivering high-quality customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
