Job Title: Glazier Glass Cutter

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging role in the glazing industry? We are seeking a highly motivated Glass Cutter to join our team in Silverwater.

About the Role:

- Ensure glass deliveries meet the required AS1288 standards
- Interpret blueprints and specifications to identify necessary work details, including color, shape, size, type, and thickness of glass to be installed
- Work collaboratively as an active team member in the field when required
- Manage receipt, acknowledgment, picking, preparation, and dispatching of orders as needed
- Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm (Occasional Saturday)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality assurance of glass deliveries
  • Interpretation of blueprints and specifications
  • Collaborative teamwork
  • Order management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Understanding of AS1288 glass in buildings
- Familiarity with glazing techniques and requirements
- Experience cutting glass with attention to detail
- Ability to use a computer and manage paperwork
- Qualification in glazing preferred but not mandatory
- Strong eye for detail and excellent time management skills
- Understanding and working knowledge of safety practices
