Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Rehabilitation Consultant.

This role involves working closely with clients, employers, and medical professionals to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services that empower individuals to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting people who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Case management: Manage caseloads and work collaboratively with Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks.
  • Applying clinical knowledge: Use your clinical expertise to improve return-to-work outcomes for our clients.
  • Developing injury prevention programs: Work with employers and employees to create and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Collaborative working: Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals to develop effective solutions.
  • Variety of clients: Work with a diverse range of clients, customers, and different types of personal injury schemes.
  • Assessments: Complete various assessments using your clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksites Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold an allied health qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Rehabilitation Counselling.
  • Be currently registered with the relevant governing body.
  • Have strong communication skills to build and develop relationships.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously within a team environment.
  • Exhibit a desire to problem-solve and have confidence to innovate and achieve results.
  • Display a passion for injury prevention, return-to-work, and associated health benefits of work.
  • Have energy and drive to grow our services.
  • Hold a current driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
