As a Project Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Management system documentation processes are maintained.

The role involves managing the relevant quality management systems registers and tracking tools, as well as administration of the quality assurance systems.

You will provide training in the adherence of the Management system, coordinate and report on the status of quality assurance metrics, conduct internal audits, prepare project documentation, implement and continually improve the project administration management system.

This includes compiling project reports (as required) including the Daily, Weekly and Progress Reports, compiling and reporting on construction quality records including the Inspection and test plans (ITP), Field inspection reports (FIR) and manufacturers data requirements (MDR).

Additionally, you will manage project filing system structure and document and drawing control systems, project goods receipt processes, project site registers including site man-hours, personnel timesheets, site contacts, fuel consumption, equipment hire, petty cash, site instructions and Day works.

You will also manage material management systems, mobilization and accommodation bookings for all site-based personnel, management of personnel clothing and office consumables, construction templates and forms, Lessons Learnt and Project close out processes.

Assisting Project Managers and Engineers in the development of project specific management plans, ITPs and quality control templates is also an essential part of this role.

Providing support and training for project site administration and site supervision, including the development of training and information packs, and assisting in the development of the Project Manufacturing Data Reports (MDR) are also key responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience using and administrating compliance systems, TAFE or Tertiary qualifications in Quality WHS Management Systems (desirable), ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 Lead auditor (desirable), technical writing skills (desirable).

They will also have experience in managing quality incidences, non-conformances, investigations, and deviations, high level of knowledge in Microsoft Office software, understanding of SharePoint, SQL databases, Microsoft Forms (or equivalent), Power Query and Power Automate.

A logical and measured approach and ability to prioritise allocated work, negotiate and resolve conflicts with confidence, minimum 10 years working with engineering/construction industries in project administration, high level of accuracy and attention to detail, high level of communication and training skills, high level of organisational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritise competing deadlines, full and unrestricted Australian working rights.
