Financial Analyst Role Overview

This is a dynamic and engaging role that involves working closely with the finance team to identify process improvements, develop scalable reporting tools, and deliver high-quality financial reports. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key part in turning numbers into actionable insights that drive business growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with month-end reporting, preparing comprehensive dashboards that consolidate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow data.
  • Deliver detailed performance reports for multi-site operations and provide thorough variance analysis.
  • Analyze complex datasets to provide meaningful business insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with the finance team to identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain scalable reporting tools with clear process documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced Excel skills, experience in financial reporting and analysis, and excellent communication skills. Experience with Xero and a background in Finance/Accounting is highly desirable.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Pivot, Power Query, formulas, dashboards, charts).
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to consolidate financial and operational data into meaningful reports that inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience with Xero and other accounting software.
  • Background in Finance/Accounting (Financial Analyst, Management Accountant, or Reporting Analyst).
